Straight Through Processing – The general idea

Today I googled on the terms “Straight Trough Processing”. The following terms were returned on the first result page:

• End-to-end processing;
• Automatically and integrating;
• No manual interference;
• Transactions;
• From T+3 to T+1;

When you put those terms together you get something like this: “Enable an electronic process for transactions to be conducted without or manual intervention (from T+3 to T+1)”.
