Yesterday evening I went to Nieuwegein, the driving range. Trying to hit some balls in the right direction. I went with Frank, Erik and Remco. I have seen the last two playing for the first time, and I was positively surprised. I hope they will continue to play for their GVB. I pointed them to ANWBGolf. I would recommend anyone to contact them if you’re wandering whether golf is a sport (or game) for you. 5 lessons for E50,-, mostly given on the golfcourse of Naarderbos. After the course you can get permission to enter the par3 course on Naarderbos.
After a couple of good hits I wasn’t that concentrated anymore, so … ahh well. It was very pleasant to play with the others. After hitting some balls with my Driver and 3Wood, we went to the chipping green. Because my concentration wasn’t that well my ratio was about 50-50 (within 10 meters of goal). That must improve, even when I am just playing with a couple of friends. On the right hand you see the driver I use. During the match, last week, it went better, but I guess I need some lessons in order to perfection my swing and end result (not being between all the trees)…

The chipping green on the other hand, went very well. I gave some first tips to Remco and he picked it up very well. Because I certainly do not know everything, I found a video in which they show how to chip. Here it is:
I was supposed to play at Naarderbos but due to other arrangements we have to find another course tonight. I hope it will go a bit better than yesterday.
